At 1:23 PM on Thursday May 7th Blauvelt and Orangeburg were called to Route 303 and Bradley Parkway for an extrication call. When Blauvelt’s Chief signed in 44 Control notified him it was a dump truck w/a small pickup truck – one person trapped. When the Chief arrived on the scene, he advised there was a dump truck and two other vehicles involved with one entrapment.
Working alongside the Blauvelt Volunteers, South Orangetown Ambulance Corp and the Orangetown Police Department the victim was removed from the vehicle and transported to a hospital. Once again, the emergency first responders in Orangetown worked together as one team to help a neighbor in need.
