On May 30th, at approximately midnight, the Orangeburg Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to an automatic fire alarm at Orange Market in the Orangetown Shopping Center

Arriving firefighters noticed heavy smoke and heat coming from a nearby nail salon. The first crew entered the salon while another prepared a hose line. Inside, they found heavy fire conditions and began extinguishing the flames. Multiple mutual aid companies were called to the scene and to cover any additional emergencies in the area.
