Spring Valley Mutual Aid Call

Saturday, July 14, 2012

On Wednesday morning, July 11, 2012, the Spring Valley Fire Department was called out for an apartment fire.  Once on the scene Spring Valley's Assistant Chief realized this was going to be more than one apartment.  The fire had already burnt through the roof of the building and was getting larger by the minute.  Our volunteers from Orangeburg were called for a FAST - a team of firefighters that operate on the scene to protect the firefighters.  The 11-EQ responded with senior firefighter JP Yore.
