Memorial Day

Wednesday, June 22, 2011

The Volunteers from Orangeburg participated in neighboring Tappan's Memorial Day Parade and services. As in years past the volunteers provided the 11-Tower to display our large American Flag as a back drop to the ceremonies.

The parade started at the German Masonic Grounds located on Western Highway and proceeded down Washington Ave. to the Town Green by the Tappan Fire House. As always, the volunteers appreciate the invitation and we always receive a warm welcome from our friends in Tappan. We all feel that this small town community event is truly an American experience.

Our volunteers also participated in the Watch Fires on Clausland Mountain and our dedication to our own members that had served.
